Monnie Singleton, M.D.
Dr. Singleton is an advocate for pharmacogenetic technology, and an ambassador to Alpha Genomix. A recognized thought leader and consultant in “personalized medicine” Dr. Singleton employs pharmacogenetic testing technology in his clinics, and researches and tests new applications of this developing area of medicine. He educates both the healthcare community and the public through speaking and events, television, radio, print and online media. Dr. Singleton’s specialty focus is opioid addiction, especially pain pill addiction. He is certified in treatment for this chronic disease and will soon be opening his second research and treatment center in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Singleton has a rare compassion for people affected by addiction and he radiates an aura of positive energy that inspires and empowers others. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California after graduating from South Carolina State University with a B.S. In Biology with honors. He has influenced health policy in the U.S. and abroad, and has is recognized as a global leader in rural health. Dr. Singleton has served on the U.S. Advisory Council on Rural Health in both Presidents William Clinton and George W. Bush Administrations, and has served in similar leadership capacities in other countries.
